The Preterm Birth Hub Initiative
Supporting Early and Ongoing Prenatal Care
The goals of this initiative are to provide early access to prenatal care before 9 weeks and to provide women of reproductive age (WRA) with a well visit.
Connecting Mothers with Resources
Early and consistent prenatal care is linked to lower rates of preterm birth, low birthweight, and pregnancy-related complications, helping improve infant and maternal health outcomes across Ohio.
How We Engage
The All Medicaid Managed Care Organization (MCO) Quality Improvement Collaborative helps promote timely visits and best practices by engaging with systems of care.
Our Focus
We encourage expecting and hopeful mothers to engage in all prenatal care and services, including well care visits for preconception health and early pregnancy planning.
